About Us

Adults around the country who are forty to fifty years old have aging parents; this generation has shown increasing interest in senior care. Every day in the United States 10,000 people turn 65. According to studies, nursing home residents may be at risk of developing depression; it is for this reason that ACES for Grandma & Granddad aims to promote senior independence, socialization, and companionship. Through acts of kindness and promoting compassion, ACES for Grandma & Granddad advocates for and raises awareness for elders. We provide for our elders’ needs so that they see an improved quality of life and life expectancy. One of our main goals is to embrace those who do not have support or family. Our non-profit mission is to create a network of support for elders, lift up our elders, and serve our communities through compassionate care.

My name is Alicia Jones, and I am the founder of ACES for Grandma & Granddad. As a child, I was instilled with a compassion and sense of duty when it comes to caring for our community’s elders. I remember how dedicated my grandmother and her sisters were as they visited the sick and disabled. We would visit and care for anyone who needed an extra hand.

I founded ACES for Grandma & Granddad in 2020 after losing my grandmother, Arizona. She was the matriarch of our family and lived to be 99. Arizona was cared for by family and independent until her death. We believe that her quality of life and independence played a role in her longevity.
